 | Big 3-HR Day for King Friday, June 23rd, 2034 Atlanta Hurricanes left fielder Louis King sensed he was going to have a good day at the plate, but he still might have underestimated it a little. Prior to the start of today's contest with the Antelope Valley Raptors, King told teammates he was sure he would hit a home run. He did -- three times. "During batting practice I really had my swing down pat," he recalled. "I felt some thunder in the lumber." The big day from King pushed the Hurricanes past the Raptors, 12-3. To go along with the homers, he collected 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs. "I was seeing good, feeling good and swinging good," King told reporters after the game. Louis King hit a solo-shot off Armando Feliciano in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Armando Feliciano in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Armando Feliciano in the 4th and walked in the 7th. Currently King has 16 home runs and a .351 batting average. |   |
