SDMB Selects Rookie Star of the Month Saturday, July 1st, 2034 Youngster Jason Linfoot emerged as the latest SDMB League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from New Orleans deserved the honor, batting .258 with 3 home runs and 11 runs batted in. Is the month of June a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Linfoot enjoy the limelight. In 78 games this season Linfoot has batted at a .197 pace with 55 hits and 8 home runs. |
