Philadelphia, Milwaukee Trade Made Monday, July 3rd, 2034 Signed ... sealed ... and delivered. Philadelphia has worked out terms of a deal to send 30-year-old 2B Roy Nickerson, 27-year-old minor league LF John Carson, 22-year-old minor league LHP Enrique Santos, 24-year-old minor league RHP Alberto Salazar and 22-year-old minor league LF Eugene Meyer to Milwaukee for 28-year-old 2B Carter Bailey and 30-year-old LHP Toyoshige Takahashi. Both teams expect to introduce their new players at press conferences later in the week. Carson has a lifetime average of .295, has played in 109 games, and has collected 4 home runs and 40 RBIs. So far this season Bailey is batting .243 with no home runs. |
