 | Brick Hospital Names New Wing in Honor of Cox Thursday, October 12th, 2034 It was just announced today that the Brick Memorial Hospital will be naming their new wing after Martin Cox, long-time first baseman for the Brick Barracudas. At the naming ceremony today, the hospital's president proudly stated that the new wing is being named after Cox due to his generous donations and countless hours of charity work for the hospital over the past years. "I'm beyond honored. This city has been so good to me and my family from the moment I put on a Brick Barracudas uniform... It's the least I can do to repay the amazing people of Brick. I couldn't imagine playing anywhere else, and am incredibly thankful to forever be a part of this city's history." Cox said today in a tearful ceremony speech, amongst hundreds of reporters and citizens in attendance. |   |
