 | Philadelphia Pilot Weintraub Acclaimed SDMB Best Sunday, October 29th, 2034 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Michael Weintraub, he seems to have taken the Philadelphia Hornets to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the SDMB League for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Weintraub led Philadelphia to a first place finish in the SDMB League Signorino Division. The Hornets ended up with a 115-47 record. |   |
