SDMB Selects Rookie Star of the Month Friday, June 1st, 2035 Wayne Dwyer is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest SDMB League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In May the Philadelphia hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .305 average with 18 hits, 4 home runs and 12 RBIs. So far this year Dwyer has 7 home runs and a .339 batting average. |
