Mitchell Slams 6 Hits for Montgomery HS
Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Danny Mitchell of the Montgomery HS Steeds had one of those moments when he went 6-for-6 at the plate today in the 17-9 win over the Tulsa HS Commanders at Steeds Ballpark.

"I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 16-year-old second baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years."

Danny Mitchell singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Gary Rodríguez in the 8th.

For the season Mitchell is hitting .506, batted in 67 runs with 16 home runs and 49 runs scored.
