The Antelope Valley Raptors got a sterling performance from catcher Lloyd Rideout, but the Brick Barracudas still prevailed, 7-4. Rideout slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Barracudas raised their record to 15-8.
Logan Francis, the reigning Outstanding Batter Award winner , had a direct impact on the outcome. Francis contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Brick up, 3-2.
"This kind of win will certainly make our fans happy," Francis told the Brick Citizen.
