Barracudas Topple Raptors with Late Rally
The Brick Barracudas beat the Antelope Valley Raptors, 4-3, at Old League Park. Brick right fielder Elwood Kerr had an outstanding performance. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Gabriel Allison got the win, improving to 3-2. He worked 7.1 innings, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Earning his 1st save for Brick was Shawn Sparks.

Millard Peterson, the 29-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Peterson contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Brick up, 4-3.

Kerr told a Brick Citizen reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

It was the 16th win in 24 games this year for the defending champion Barracudas, who are picking up where they left off.
