Brick Barracudas starter Rodrigo Padilla pitched a strong game against the Chicago Reapers at Old League Park, leading the Barracudas to a 5-2 win. Brick now owns a record of 19-22.
The Barracudas got a big at-bat from designated hitter Logan Francis. For the game, Francis was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Brick a 3-0 lead.
