Reapers Turn Back Antelope Valley, 3-2
|
Chicago pitcher Pedro Campos did his part in helping his team beat the Antelope Valley Raptors, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Mark Richard picked up the save for Chicago, his 4th of the year. Chicago is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Chicago grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and a runner on 2nd, Rick Chase delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 3-2 in favor of the Reapers.
"Both teams played hard," said Chicago manager Luke Farthing.
