Wolves Topple Raptors with Late Rally
The Brooklyn Wolves and Antelope Valley Raptors obliged those fans who came to Old League Park hoping for an exciting game.

The Brooklyn Wolves overcame a good performance by Antelope Valley first baseman Dave O'Brien to knock off Antelope Valley, 6-5, at Old League Park. O'Brien was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Brooklyn reliever Brian Hunter picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-1. José Sánchez was collared with the loss.

Had Brad Bowman not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Bowman hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Wolves.

"It feels good to get this one," Bowman told the Brooklyn Times.

Brooklyn has now won 4 games in a row.
