Old League Park was the site of a competitive game between the Brooklyn Wolves and Antelope Valley Raptors.

Antelope Valley beat Brooklyn on the strength of starter Guillermo Romero's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. Jeffrey Metcalf was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 19 of 21 save opportunities.

Lloyd Rideout, who is tied for 5th in the SDMB in home runs with 16, aided the Antelope Valley cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

The Raptors saw their record improve to 30-42.
