The Brick Barracudas picked up a win at Old League Park, knocking off the Chicago Reapers, 5-2. Starting pitcher Joong-geun Yi played a key role in the triumph. Brick has a record of 4-3.
Had Juan Torres not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Torres hit a 2-run triple. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Barracudas.
"I felt good up there," said Torres. "I saw the ball well."
