The Brooklyn Wolves defeated the Brick Barracudas, 6-5, at Old League Park. Brooklyn left fielder John Hunter was named player of the game for his superb performance. He slugged 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times. Roberto Quiñones got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. The Wolves bumped their record to 41-40 with this latest triumph.

Brad Bowman was the walk-off hero for Brooklyn. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Wolves third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"It was a solid team effort," said Hunter after the game.
