Hurricanes Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Raptors
Fans who gathered at Old League Park saw a good contest between the Atlanta Hurricanes and Antelope Valley Raptors.

The Atlanta Hurricanes defeated the Antelope Valley Raptors, 6-4, at Old League Park. Atlanta first baseman Michael Harrington had a superb performance. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Juan Vélez earned the win to go to 1-0. He allowed 4 runs on 10 hits, with 2 walks and 6 strikeouts in 8 innings of work.

Harrington had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-1 fastball from Mauro Saucedo, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Hurricanes a 6-4 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Harrington.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Harrington said after the game.

The loss makes Antelope Valley 4-5.
