Atlanta third baseman Paul Gallimore made his presence felt in the 8-6 Hurricanes triumph over the Houston Armadillos. Gallimore belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The winner was Pablo Ramírez, who threw 106 pitches over 5.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 5 runs on 10 hits. Patrick Beene was credited with the save.
