Barracudas Sneak Past Hornets, 3-2
|
The Philadelphia Hornets got a superb performance from pitcher James Ferguson, but the Brick Barracudas still won the game, 3-2. Ferguson threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball. With the win, Brick raised its record to 61-40.
Luis Rosales was the walk-off hero for Brick. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Barracudas first baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"This is truly a great team to play with," Rosales said after the game. "We're like brothers, and when we come together to pull out the win, that just makes it all the better."
