Brooklyn Wolves starter Ron Hill pitched a strong game against the Antelope Valley Raptors at Old League Park, leading the Wolves to victory, 6-3. Scott Egan converted his 22nd save in 24 tries. Brooklyn now sits in second place in the SDMB League Adams Division at 46-57.

Brooklyn used the timely hitting of Bo Mills to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Wolves on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Mills said.
