Griffin Fires Shutout in Wilmington Victory
|
Rick Griffin of the Wilmington Atlantics toyed with the Brick Barracudas today, blanking them 3-0 at Old League Park. He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 3-hit shutout with 5 strikeouts and no walks.
"I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Griffin said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there."
