Victory Over Hurricanes Takes Milwaukee to 28-13
|
The Milwaukee Meerkats downed the Atlanta Hurricanes, 8-2, at Old League Park. The Meerkats were led by Tony Cannon, who captured player of the game honors. He was 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Enrique Santos, the winner, improved to 6-2. He held the Hurricanes to 1 earned run on 3 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 2. Milwaukee has now won 3 in a row.
