The Wilmington Atlantics downed the Antelope Valley Raptors, 6-3, at Old League Park. Tae-sang Pak led the way, going 3-for-3 for Wilmington. Valentín Cedeño earned save number 12. After today's action, Wilmington sits at 20-22, while Antelope Valley falls to 22-20.
Had Brendon Austin not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Austin hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Atlantics.
Austin attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
