The Antelope Valley Raptors picked up a win at Old League Park, knocking off the Wilmington Atlantics, 4-3. On the mound for Antelope Valley was right-hander Sergio López, who played a pivotal role in the win. Jeffrey Metcalf notched his 12th save in 13 chances. Antelope Valley is now 28-35.

Antelope Valley needed the clutch hitting of José Poli to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Raptors on top, 4-3. For the game, Poli had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Wilmington manager Thomas Kerner.
