Hurricanes Rally For Late Win Over Atlantics
Atlanta starter Miguel De La Torre pitched effectively against the Wilmington Atlantics at Old League Park. The left-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. John Young picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-2. Esteban Valenzuela was tagged with the loss. Patrick Beene earned his 14th save in 14 chances.

The Hurricanes got a big at-bat from shortstop Von Jones. For the game, Jones was 1 for 4. In the bottom of the eighth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 20th hit of the season gave Atlanta a 4-3 lead.

"We did a lot of things right," said Jones.
