Antelope Valley pitcher Brendan Divine did his part in helping his team beat the New Orleans Crawdaddy's, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Divine got the win, improving to 8-5. He allowed 8 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. Divine allowed 3 runs. Jeffrey Metcalf earned his 19th save in 20 chances.

Antelope Valley relied on the hitting of Tzu-hsia Wang to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Raptors on top, 3-2. For the game, Wang had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said New Orleans manager Andy Rosenau. "But we decided not to take it."

The third-place Raptors improved to 43-44.
