The Chicago Reapers and the Brick Barracudas will take the Cecil Cup to a decisive 7th game. Facing a must-win situation today, the Reapers shut out the Barracudas 3-0 at Old League Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Chicago right-hander Donald Jackson was named player of the game in the win after a strong outing in which he threw 8 innings of shutout ball.

Jackson, a native of New York, was dealing all game. He kept Brick hitters off-balance, while giving the Reapers 8 quality innings. Jackson threw 101 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 7.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Jackson said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Old League Park. Slated to start are José Rodríguez for the Chicago Reapers and Ernest Metcalf for the the Brick Barracudas.
