Abrams Rips Mepkin Abbey for 5 Hits
It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Bill Abrams today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Old League Park and paced the Wolves to a 11-10 win over the Mepkin Abbey Monks.

After his dynamite batting performance, the Brooklyn left fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 7 tries and put his name in the record book. Bill Abrams grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, struck out in the 11th and singled in the 13th.
