The Houston Armadillos saddled the Milwaukee Meerkats with a loss at Old League Park. The final score was 8-2. Andrew Boulter, named player of the game, was 4 for 5, including 2 singles and 2 home runs. The Houston third baseman scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Houston reliever Jesús Flores picked up the win, upping his record to 3-10. Jorge Reyes took the loss. With the win over Milwaukee, the Armadillos improved to 47-50.

The Armadillos beat the Meerkats with some clutch hitting. The single by Pei Gui in the bottom of the sixth is a good example. With two down, Gui gave his team the lead, 3-2, when he came through with the big hit.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Gui told the Houston Chronicle.
