The Brick Barracudas sent the home crowd home ecstatic.

The Brick Barracudas beat the New Orleans Crawdaddy's, 7-6, at Old League Park. Elwood Kerr, in particular, was impressive. He went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Brick reliever Carlos Placeres was the winner. His record is now 3-4. Sergio Luján took the loss.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Brick pinch hitter Luis Rosales, facing Miguel Hernández, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Barracudas the 7-6 win.

"We found a way to get it done," Rosales said.

With the win, Brick pushed its record to 75-52.
