Wolves Collect 6-4 Win Over Beavers
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Brooklyn Wolves and Toronto Beavers.

Toronto third baseman Mark Cannon was sensational. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Brooklyn beat the Beavers, 6-4. The Wolves raised their record to 51-76.

Brooklyn needed the clutch hitting of Bo Mills to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the 14th inning to put the Wolves on top, 6-4. For the game, Mills had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Mills.
