Hornets, Reapers Make Deal Monday, July 3rd, 2034 The Philadelphia Hornets announced a deal with the Reapers today, sending 27-year-old RHP Don Hammond to Chicago for 33-year-old C George Robinson and a 6th round draft pick. It had been talked about for the past few weeks and everything came together late last night. All players are expected to be joining their respective clubs shortly. Taking a look at this year, Don Hammond has made 5 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 1-0 won-lost mark and a 0.00 ERA. In pitching 4.1 innings, he has totaled 6 strikeouts and no walks. Robinson is hitting at a .331 mark this season. His stats show 6 home runs, 39 RBIs and 35 runs scored.
