Breaking News | | Thursday, May 21st, 2020: Kensington Stops Carmona's Hit Streak The Mississagua Free Agents won the game 5-0 over the Kensington Wolfpack. At the same time the Wolfpack mound corps did what no other team could do. They stopped the 21-game hitting streak of Free Agents center fielder Bruno Carmona. But that was still not enough to win the game.
"Our pitchers may have focused a bit too much on stopping Carmona," the Kensington manager commented afterward. "He had a nice hitting streak going, but the Free Agents have other hitters and they did their job today."
In 2020 Carmona has put up a .345 batting average with 50 hits, 4 home runs and 24 RBIs. | | Thursday, May 21st, 2020: Free Agents Earp Blanks Wolfpack In a sharp 3-hit performance, Jermaine Earp tossed the Mississagua Free Agents to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Kensington Wolfpack, fanning 5 and walking 3.
