Glendale HS's Jeff Farrell was 1-5 in the Goths 11-7 victory over the Tulsa HS Commanders. That stretched his hitting streak to 32 games.
In the clubhouse after the win, the 17-year-old Farrell told reporters, "I'm in a groove right now, and I am trying to stay there by doing the same things over and over again. If I change something, it might bring me bad luck."
J. Farrell grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th.
Thus far this year Farrell is batting .450 with 6 home runs, 36 RBIs and 58 runs scored.

| Thursday, May 14th, 2020: Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Farrell
The red-hot hitting Jeff Farrell is riding high with a 31-consecutive-game hitting streak and is drawing a lot of attention at the ballpark and in the press. The 17-year-old Glendale HS third baseman continued the streak today at Goths Ballpark with 1 hit in 5 at-bats as the Goths got the best of the Tulsa HS Commanders 7-5.
"It's great," one of his teammates said. "To be able to hit behind him and watch him, it's been fun. It's been fun and exciting to watch. Not only fans in Glendale HS, but baseball fans everywhere appreciate what is going on right now, and it has everyone on the edge of their seats wondering what he is going to do."
J. Farrell grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
In the 2020 campaign Farrell has hit at a .457 clip with 35 RBIs, 6 home runs and 58 runs scored.

| Thursday, May 14th, 2020: Ángel Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak
José Ángel's bat has been smoking lately as he went 2-for-3 in today's 7-5 triumph over Tulsa HS at Goths Ballpark. The 16-year-old second baseman for the Glendale HS Goths has now hit safely in 20 successive games.
J. Ángel singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th and flied out in the 7th.
In his season totals Ángel has 2 home runs and a .368 batting average.
