The Kansas City HS Squirrels whipped Tampa HS today 7-6, but didn't stop Sung-heun Hwa's consecutive-game hitting streak. The Loggers third baseman collected 2 hits and pushed the number to 32 games in a row.
S. Hwa grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off S. McClain in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
In the 2020 season Hwa is hitting .453 with 11 home runs.

| Thursday, May 14th, 2020: 31-Game Hitting Streak for Hwa
And the streak goes on.
Sung-heun Hwa collected another hit in the Loggers 8-7 win over the Squirrels. The Tampa HS third baseman was 2-for-4 in the game. After the game, Diaz commented on his 31-game hitting streak, "I'm not doing too much, just trying to get the bat on the ball and put it in play."
His manager told BNN, "Sung-heun makes it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup everyday."
S. Hwa grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
Hwa is hitting .455 this season with 10 home runs, 51 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He has 71 hits in 156 at-bats.

| Thursday, May 14th, 2020: Díaz Cracks 5 Hits
It was magical day at the plate for the Loggers Pancho Díaz. The 15-year-old second baseman helped lift Tampa HS to a 8-7 win over the Kansas City HS Squirrels today at Squirrels Stadium. Díaz smacked 5 hits in 5 at-bats to spark his club to victory.
P. Díaz doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off G. Lacenaire in the 9th.
Díaz has collected 60 hits for the Loggers this year, 7 of them home runs. He has also netted 38 RBIs and scored 36 runs while batting .357.
