Crawdaddy's Get Road Win, 9-2
|
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Duncan Swanson, the New Orleans Crawdaddy's defeated the Wilmington Atlantics, 9-2. Swanson went 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Crawdaddy's. Earning his 1st save for New Orleans was Sergio Luján. With the loss, Wilmington falls to 12-7.
It could have been a different outcome for New Orleans, had it not been for José Gonzáles, the speedster . Gonzáles contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put New Orleans up, 4-0.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Swanson said.
