Gallegos Dominates, Whitewashes Monks
New Orleans Crawdaddy's pitcher Vicente Gallegos blanked the Mepkin Abbey Monks 5-0 at Old League Park today, tossing a 3-hitter while issuing 3 walks and collecting 4 strikeouts.

After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club.

"I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Gallegos said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today."

In 13 starts this season Gallegos has notched a 8-2 record and a 4.37 ERA.
