Seattle Takes League Championship Thursday, September 30th, 2032 George Hendricks sparked his Seattle Monarchs past the pesky Brooklyn Wolves in a closely-contested League Championship. Seattle topped Brooklyn 10-2 at Old League Park to decide the series, 4-1 For his efforts, Hendricks was rewarded with the series MVP trophy for his .455 batting average, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "You never want to leave anything on the field," Hendricks said. "You never want to miss a play of defense you could have made, or give up an extra base you could have gotten, because in a series this tight you never know what you'll need to win." The Seattle Monarchs don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Philadelphia Hornets - Brick Barracudas series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
