| Breaking News | | Tuesday, September 8th, 2020: Taylor's Great Year Nets AAA Outstanding Pitcher Award
This year the Sub League 1 spotlight fell on Chris Taylor of the Regina Monologues. What a 2020 season he had!
A fine 20-10 won-lost record, 3.02 ERA, 41 starts, 232.2 innings and 254 strikeouts -- a season good enough to earn him the SL1 AAA Outstanding Pitcher Award.

| Saturday, August 15th, 2020: Taylor Spins Shutout Against Dayton
Chris Taylor put a hex on Dayton in a sparkling 5-0 shutout performance, mesmerizing them on a 1-hit gem.
"I feel good physically," he said. "Everything's comfortable. You should pitch well when that's the case."
It was anything but comfortable for Dayton.
"Taylor used his changeup very well, very effectively," the opposing manager said. "He threw it in hitter's counts."
The Regina Monologues hurler fanned 8 and walked 4.
Checking out his stats for the season, Taylor has registered 19 wins and 10 losses in 40 starts, 3.12 ERA and struck out 249 batters in 224.2 innings.

 | Friday, August 14th, 2020: Regina Hopeless Against Huff
Bret Huff of the Tacoma Titans was in command from start to finish in his 7-0 shutout win over the Regina Monologues. He struck out 6, walked 1 and allowed 2 hits.
"I felt strong the entire game," Huff said. "I felt like I had my good stuff. It was just one of those games when everything was working."
So far this year Huff has a 6-2 record with a 3.49 ERA.
