The Saskatoon Amigos have finalized a deal with All Star-caliber closer Gregg Fiala that will extend his stay in Saskatoon at least 2 years and will pay out $7,900,000.
This season Fiala has made 72 relief appearances, saving 50. His record is 6-7 with 81 strikeouts in 73.1 innings and a 2.82 ERA.

| Tuesday, September 15th, 2020: Season-Ending Injury for Glen Mitchell
Glen Mitchell of the Amigos just might have to call it quits for the season. The 28-year-old Saskatoon starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Hickory Huskers recently at San Fran Stadium. Mitchell suffered a torn rotator cuff muscle while throwing a pitch. The Amigos medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 7 months.
In 2020 Mitchell has compiled a 15-7 mark with a 4.46 ERA.
