| Breaking News | | Sunday, August 30th, 2020: Maxson Selected SL2's Top Pitcher
Generally, the AA Outstanding Pitcher Award goes to a starting pitcher. For someone in the bullpen to receive this honor, he has to be something special.
Well, William Maxson of Moose Jaw was very special this year.
He was announced today as the 2020 Sub League 2 AA Outstanding Pitcher Award winner.
The talented Rumrunners relief expert dominated with 3 saves in 21 tries. Maxson finished the season with 10 wins and 2 losses, a 2.19 ERA and 104 strikeouts in 119 innings, allowing 95 hits, 21 walks and a .217 OBA.

| Monday, July 27th, 2020: Alario of Moose Jaw SL2's Premier Player
Rookie jitters had no place in Adrián Alario's game last week as the 26-year-old Moose Jaw pitcher propelled himself to the Sub League 2 Player of the Week award.
He posted 2 wins, 9 strikeouts and a 0.00 ERA last week.
In 35 starts this year Alario has crafted a 13-8 record and a 4.28 ERA.

| Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020: Alario Pitches Gem against Flatbush
Moose Jaw starter Adrián Alario really did a number on the Pups today, shutting them out 11-0 on 3 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 2 walks and had 6 strikeouts.
In his postgame comments, the Flatbush manager said, "We didn't have good at-bats. I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting... seeing as our team has a bunch of pretty good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Adrián... he did an outstanding job today."
So far this year Alario has 13 wins and 7 losses and a 4.10 ERA.
