Dave Nix went on a season-long hitting spree against Sub League 2 pitchers and captured the AA Outstanding Hitter Award for 2020.
The Flatbush first baseman battered the opposition for 171 hits, 47 doubles, 2 triples, 16 home runs, 91 runs batted in and 65 runs scored. He hit .360 and posted a .422 on-base percentage.

| Monday, August 10th, 2020: Sub League 2 Picks Top Player
Swinging a hot stick last week, Eric Halliwell picked up the Sub League 2 Player of the Week Award today.
The 25-year-old left fielder for Flatbush lashed 13 hits in 24 at-bats as he put together a .542 average with 3 home runs. Halliwell also drove in 7 runs, scored 7 times and compiled a .577 OBP.
In the 2020 season Halliwell is batting .342 with 160 hits and 13 home runs. He has scored 72 times and batted in 71.

| Saturday, August 1st, 2020: Nix Cops SL2 Batter of the Month Honors
Dave Nix is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Flatbush first baseman joined that select company when the Sub League 2 announced the results of July's voting.
Nix totaled 47 hits, 14 walks, 6 home runs, 32 RBIs and 23 runs scored last month to put together a .398 batting average and .462 on-base percentage.
This season Nix is hitting .364 with 160 hits, 14 home runs, 80 RBIs, scored 62 runs and played in 111 games.
