| Breaking News |  | Monday, July 27th, 2020: Hannah Shuts out Sharks
An efficient outing for Tony Hannah usually means a win for Kalmar. Today was no exception, as the 25-year-old starter held Spreckelsville to a long line of goose eggs. He struck out 4 and gave up 4 hits in the 2-0 shutout.
This season Hannah has compiled a 5-2 mark with a 3.58 ERA in 8 starts.

| Friday, July 10th, 2020: Streak Finally Over, Martínez Hitless
The Spreckelsville Sharks clamped down on Miguel Martínez and put a stop to his hit streak at 22 straight games. He went without a hit, but it didn't keep the Unionists from winning the game. Kalmar downed the Sharks 7-3.
Martínez is hitting .280 so far this season with 74 RBIs and 53 runs scored. He has 99 hits including 15 home runs, 28 walks and .344 OBP.

| Wednesday, July 1st, 2020: Sánchez - June's Pitcher of the Month
Over the past month Claudio Sánchez has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Sub League 2. He proved all that and now he's been named June's Pitcher of the Month.
The rookie for the Spreckelsville Sharks posted 5-1 mark and a 2.89 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 46.2 innings, permitted 33 hits and fanned 42 batters.
Sánchez has made 18 starts this season, posting 8 wins and 7 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .239 against him and he has 121 strikeouts in 130 innings with a 3.39 ERA.
