| Breaking News | | Friday, September 4th, 2020: Sub League 2 Names Top Hitter
Aaron Hampton of the Jersey City Fissures had a fine season this year and today he accepted the A Outstanding Hitter Award for 2020.
The 21-year-old catcher put up a .321 average and a .380 on-base percentage, piling up 132 hits, 32 doubles, 3 triples, 10 home runs, 77 RBIs and 55 runs scored.

| Thursday, September 3rd, 2020: Sub League 2 Best Pitcher Chosen
The Sub League 2 A Outstanding Pitcher Award winner has been chosen and the trophy goes to Jersey City hurler Salvador Jordan for his outstanding season in 2020.
Jordan was quite impressive with a 15- 0 record and a 2.15 ERA. In 19 starts and 159.1 innings, he struck out 91 and gave up 130 hits and 16 walks. Teams hit .220 against him.

 | Thursday, July 16th, 2020: Stairs Stops Brighton
Today at Fissures Ballpark Ralph Stairs baffled Brighton batters on 5 hits en route to a 4-0 shutout.
"He was able to keep hitters off balance and got the ball down," said the Fissures skipper about his starter's performance.
Stairs had 8 strikeouts and 1 walk in the game.
To this point in the season Stairs has 8 wins and 9 losses and a 4.68 ERA.
