| Breaking News |  | Tuesday, July 1st, 2014: Aikin Top Hitter in ZL in June
Seasoned by several years of professional experience, 31-year-old Ronald Aikin put together a solid offensive month for Los Angeles and was crowned June's top batter in the Zotti League.
He batted .369 with 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and 23 runs scored.
Thus far this season Aikin is hitting .320 with 19 home runs, 65 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 94 hits in 294 at-bats and has played in 80 games.

| Monday, June 23rd, 2014: Barrage of Hits Gets Aikin ZL Award
The Player of the Week has been announced by the Zotti League. The award went to Ronald Aikin, first baseman of the Los Angeles Scorpions.
He dominated league pitchers with a .391 average to win the honor. Aikin went 9-23 for the week, totaled 3 home runs with 6 RBIs and scored 5 times.
In 2014 Aikin is batting .321 with 84 hits, 18 home runs, 56 RBIs, 34 walks, .391 OBP and has scored 47 runs. He has played in 72 games.

| Wednesday, June 18th, 2014: 5-Hit Game for Aikin
Los Angeles first baseman Ronald Aikin could do no wrong in today's 9-8 win over the Dans as he collected 5 hits.
"In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Dans said to the press corps after the game.
Aikin agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."
R. Aikin singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off J. Lewis in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off M. McCraw in the 8th.
Presently Aikin is batting .325 with 80 hits and 17 home runs. He has knocked in 53 runs and scored 45 times.
