Colorado Springs College second baseman Eugene Wells went 5-for-6 today and paced the Valleycats to a 11-6 victory over the Scottsdale College Weevils at Ballpark of Scottsdale College.
E. Wells flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off D. Dunlap in the 9th.
In his stats this season, Wells has posted a batting average of .281 with 52 hits in 185 at-bats, 10 home runs and 37 RBIs. He has also scored 33 runs, walked 17 times and compiled a .341 OBP.

 | Thursday, May 14th, 2020: Wright Fires Shutout in Valleycats Victory
Daniel Wright allowed 1 hit while giving up 3 walks and collecting 10 strikeouts as Colorado Springs College blanked Modesto College 9-0.
In the postgame interview Wright said, "I'm trying to keep the ball down and let guys put it in play. It worked for me today."
This season Wright has compiled a 4-3 mark with a 4.50 ERA.

| Saturday, May 2nd, 2020: García Belts Bunch of Base Hits
The Valleycats tripped up the Bluejackets 17-7 today, led by Adrián García, their 20-year-old left fielder. He tagged Norfolk College pitching for 5 hits, making life miserable for them the entire game.
A. García hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
This year García has hit at a .286 pace and produced 13 RBIs, no home runs and scored 12 runs.
