Wilson Santos is respected by most Buffalo Ironsides fans for his no-frills style of play. The 20-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Sub League 1 Player of the Week honors.
He compiled a .435 average (10-23) with 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
In his season totals Santos has 7 home runs and a .234 batting average.

Stan Lowery made quick work of Buffalo, blanking the Ironsides 3-0 at Royals Ballpark today. The Tisdale pitcher limited them to 5 hits to earn the victory. Lowery fanned 5 and walked 3.
This year Lowery has 13 wins and 5 losses and a 2.22 ERA.

| Monday, June 29th, 2020: Buffalo's Oleiro Crowned SL1 #1 Player
Youth was served last week as 21-year-old Jonas Oleiro put together a remarkable stretch on the mound, outpacing all other Sub League 1 pitchers and hitters to win Player of the Week honors.
The Buffalo Ironsides hurler rang up 10 strikeouts in 17.1 innings, compiling an ERA of 0.00 and posting a fine 2-0 mark.
In the 2020 season Oleiro has recorded a 7-6 mark. In 17 starts he has fanned 85 batters in 115.1 innings with a 3.82 ERA.
