The Olympia clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Teddy O'Herlihy will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2020 Sub League 1 AA Outstanding Pitcher Award.
O'Herlihy made 23 starts this year, winning 11 and losing 6. He threw 149.2 innings, fanned 159, allowed 138 hits and 29 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .240 average as he logged an impressive 2.95 ERA.

| Monday, August 17th, 2020: Oligarchs Sweep Kalmar
The Oligarchs rolled over Kalmar 4-2 at Field of the Boas to easily win the 2020 Round 1 crown.
Olympia won in a walk and swept the series from the Unionists 4-0. It was their 3rd championship title.
The winning manager praised his own club as well as the opposition, "It wasn't as easy as it looked. We had to play good baseball to beat them. The Unionists are a fine team, but we always seemed to come up with the key hit at the right time and to make the the plays on defense when we had to. That's how you win the Round 1."
The Oligarchs took first place in the Sub League 1 and rounded out the year with a 70-50 record.

| Saturday, August 1st, 2020: Oligarchs Hurler Named SL1's #1 Starter
Teddy O'Herlihy has made fans throughout SDMB Double A take notice over the past month with an exceptional 4-1 record. No pitcher in the Sub League 1 threw better in July, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today.
In 6 starts O'Herlihy compiled a 1.66 ERA, putting up a 4-1 record, striking out 48 and tossing 43.1 innings.
To date this year, O'Herlihy shows a 10-5 record, 21 starts, 135 innings, 142 strikeouts and a 3.00 ERA.
